{Pick up decorating colors from fruit}
By Mermaid Jennifer
"I hate picking paint colors," my friend lamented the other day, "I just never know what to choose and how it will look in the room," she added.
For me, I like to look to nature for colors. They are especially popular right now, and if you look around you'll see that designers are inspired by the colors in nature as well. Whether in paint colors or bedding, natural colors work.
Take this papaya for example (much more beautiful in real life than in a photo), the colors are rich and amazing. The orange/peach color mixed with the deep brown seeds were created to perfection.

Here are several bedding sets that set off the same colors in the papaya

JCPenney bedding set
Target bed set
Pottery Barn bed set
So maybe it's just about slicing into a juicy red apple, squeezing juice from a fresh peach, or chopping some celery that will lead you to new design horizons in your home.
