I love journals. I find them inspiring; just sitting there looking pretty, waiting to be filled with glorious thoughts and words.

Some are beautiful and more expensive. I like to use those for my daily thoughts.

I also keep one just for traveling. Whether I have traveled to a local hotel for a night out with my husband, or across the country for a major vacation, I record my days and nights in a special journal. 

Another fun idea is to buy the cheap little journals that you can find at dollar stores or other discount chains. Place one by your bed to record dreams; throw one in your purse to jot down creative ideas, favorite quotes, or jokes; include one as a little“extra” in a gift bag.
