{Lemon Bars}



This recipe came from the kitchen of our friend and reader, Christine Chambers. Thank you, Christine!

2 cups of butter or margarine
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Cream together. Press into a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 - 20 minutes.

4 eggs
1/4 cup flour
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice

Beat together. Pour over crust and return to oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar. Cool before cutting.
