{Whipped to perfection}


Freshly whipped cream is so much better than the store-bought varieties and so easy to make. Plus, it can be flavored with yummy alternatives to add an extra something special to your deserts. Follow these few basic tips and make it perfect every time.
  • Start with a chilled bowl and chilled beaters. Just stick the beaters in the bowl and the bowl in the fridge about an hour before you plan to start whipping. I usually do it when I start my dinner preparations.
  • Whip until soft peaks form.
  • Add a teaspoon of vanilla and a bit of sugar in the middle of the whipping process.
  • Serve immediately

For something different, skip the sugar and add instead: honey, cocoa powder, jelly, agave nectar, stevia (a non-caloric, natural sweetener found in health food stores)
