{Dive into Community}

Summer is a magical time. The season conjures visions of water skiing, sunbathing, swimming pools and long bike rides. It is also the time of  year for farmer's markets, outdoor concerts, picnics in the park, even a class at the parks and recreation center.

Summer is definitely the time of year to be out and about in your community. With so many of us taking stay-cations rather than vacations this year, the Mermaids of the Lake encourage you to explore what your community has to offer.

You might just be surprised at how fun and interesting home really is! To make the season even more meaningful, consider engaging in some form of community service. Whatever you plan, we remind you to enjoy summer. Get out and play, don't let the season of sun and fun pass you by!
