Wow! It’s already mid-October and that means the holidays are just around the corner. Why not get inspired to be healthy now, before the festivities begin? Why wait until January? And... why not have fun doing it?

Eat healthy and hearty; try a new form of exercise; dive into a personal journey of discovery; and embrace your spirituality. Cover all the bases: body, mind and spirit! What a great way to start the holiday season.

Healthy and Delicious - Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

This fabulous, power-packed smoothie is as healthy as it is delicious. And… it tastes just like pumpkin pie!

1 15 ounce can pure pumpkin puree
1 12 ounce can evaporated milk (fat-free version is fine)
2 teaspoons cinnamon (or to taste)
1 teaspoon nutmeg (or to taste)
2 packages Stevia (natural sweetener)
1 Tablespoon honey
6 ice cubes
Whipped cream to garnish

In a blender, puree pumpkin, milk, spices, Stevia, and honey until smooth, Add ice cubes, one at a time. Pour into 4 large goblets and garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream.
