{A Fresh and Vibrant New Year!}

The Mermaid challenge this New Year is: Dive into You! Don’t sit in a pile of sadness and post holiday depression. Get out there and make life happen…choose creativity, make a cozy home, take time for playfulness, set realistic personal goals, and adopt an attitude of gratitude. Choose how you will move through winter. Think of winter not as a cold and blustery season, but a time of year to go deep within. Dive into You. That is the call of the season for all women.
 

We want to hear from you. The Mermaids are loving the recent photo submissions to our Pet Gallery. What a hoot! We love your pets and encourage you to send funny and lovely pictures. Lake memories are important to the Mermaids. We love our lake and know that many readers have recollections of fun and interesting times spent on their favorite lake. If you have a Lake Memory you would like to share, please submit a 300-500 word write- up, and please attach a photo to your email. And…our Merman is amazing. We definitely would like to keep him busy. Please send your questions to The Merman, he’s dying to hear from you!

After the holidays, who couldn't use a break? Later this month, take a day just for you. Browse local boutiques, have lunch with a friend, mull about your house until you feel like doing something - or do nothing at all! Here's a fun story about Mermaid Jennifer's special day off.
